The Agilent 2200 Tapestation provides an end-to-end sample quality control (QC) for most next-generation sequencing (NGS), microarray and real-time PCR (qPCR) workflows. With the genomic DNA screentape, the system can also analyze large DNA fragments such as genomic DNA (gDNA).
Unlike conventional methods where the gDNA quality is determined by subjective analysis of gel electrophoresis images. The Agilent 2200 gDNA assay will generate a DNA quality score, namely the DIN value, providing an objective and standardized tool for gDNA sample integrity assessment.
